MY awesome weekend

Place was pretty legit. The pool is awesome and the bathtub is huge. Great for bubble bath and body relaxation. Great hotel. Will stay again

Location, Location

Stayed here a few time because of its location to the Strousburg and the Gap! Being able to walk to the trailhead, fishing, restaturants/bars, coffee shops and senic views outweights any defect in my eyes as long as its clean. The hotel needs some updating but based on location and price, its fine.

Basic Room

Basic and simple hotel room. Room was clean but the ceiling had some water stains on both sides and tbe red chair jn the riom seemed a bit old and worn. Bed a d pillows were comfy. Microwave and small fridge in the room was conveinent. Door was a bit loud when you opened or closed it and the lock was a little rusty but we didnt have ang safey concerns. We were also able to check in a couple hours early for a $20 fee (which i think was fair) and that helped hs a lot. Also, hitel is pet friendly and we traveled with a small dog (extra $25) so that was conveinent so.

Dive hotel

To be frank, find another hotel. The floor of the room was as sticky as a movie theater. The whole room,bed, and red chair reeked of Febreze or the equivalent. The secure lock for the hotel door was broken. Anyone could just walk in the back door. This place has a massive upheaval of carpet by the pool like a speedbump in the hall. Even though the bathroom fan was turned on with the balcony door cracked it couldn't kill the stench of perfume in the room. The young couple's non smoking room across the hall reeked of cigarettes. Staff rude, room was deplorable, and was refused any refund. Spent half the night just driving home. BOOK AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

The property is tired and needs new everything. Not just for style but because it needs to be replaced. The beds were comfortable enough and the staff was pleasant.

This is hands down the worst hotel my family has ever been in. Stay away. Deadbolt on room broken, mold all over bathroom, cracked and missing chunks out of the walls, the shower is scolding hot so much I can’t bathe kids in it, dirty stains all over multiple walls, trash was full when we arrived. Beds are rock hard, crunchy and loud. But safety and cleanliness is by far a major concern. Fan in bathroom dangling down, front desk said to talk to manager in morning.

The first room ac did not work they changed rooms it was fine. Found a dirty sock behind the chair. The room did not get cleaned daily nor they did not give clean towels.
