The room has a terrible smell and we found the smell is coming from bathroom shower curtain. We ask to change the room and the front desk give us another one but has very similar smell, same coming from shower curtain.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, and the location made it incredibly easy to get to all the major trails and attractions. The only downside was that I had called ahead to confirm a microwave in the room and was told there would be one, but there wasn’t when we arrived.

Location can't be beat and the price is somewhat mediocre food and amenities (no espresso at the cafe because machine is broken, TV not working in room). The staff is awesome, beds comfortable and bathroom clean in pretty outdated rooms. The pool is amazing and you can reach the best parts of Death Valley easily.

Very poor sound insulation between rooms. We tried to mask the noise from the child in the adjacent room by turning on our TV, but it only had a couple of channels with very poor reception. There was an hour wait for dinner at the restorant, and the buffet at $29.99 a person was out of half the food and the food was very poor quality. The staff member at the check in did not explain anything about other options for meals or the facilities or activities available, just gave us a map of the Ranch, even though we did pre- check , and there was nobody else waiting . Hotel is old but clean. Paid for 1pm late checkout but not only was I bothered at 11am twice by the cleaning staff, they deactivated my card at noon. In addition, I believe I was overcharged for the late checkout which I will have to take up with the management.
