The rooms are clean. It is an old building. They have done some renovations. needs a fresh coat of paint. Could really use some blackout curtains. We just stayed one night passing through so it fit our needs. Friendly front desk lady.

An excellent alternative to the usual hotel chains. Very reasonably priced, and very clean and well-maintained rooms. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a small microwave in the room. There is a large fridge/freezer unit, but perhaps a smaller one would leave some room to add the microwave.

We were concerned at check-in when they told us we hadn't paid through Expedia and they handed us a regular key. However, the room was clean and appeared to be updated. This was a case where "you can't judge a book by it's cover."

Glad I stayed here. Clean and quiet. Very comfy bed. Nothing fancy, small bathroom, but clean, safe, and quiet. Slept great!

I flew into Cranbrook and the flight did not land until 12:30 am, when I went to the hotel they did not answer the door, even though I had left a message that I would be arriving late. If you are not arriving at a regular check in time, I would find a hotel that has 24 hr staffing. That said, the facility is very clean, great beds and we will be booking several rooms for a conference we are having in town in April. The value is excellent! Commincation is challenging...but I take some responsibility as I should have made it clear about my arrival time as they would have unlocked the room had I spoken to them ahead of time. They are accomidating once you communicate your needs. I would highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed in many budget friendly hotels and this one is by far the best I've ever stayed at.
