Everything was great in terms of service! Five stars! But the room was dark and dingy. The lighting needs to be upgraded. It was somewhat depressing. I would recommend investing in making the rooms brighter. Also, updating the bathrooms. Nothing was dirty, just drab and depressing.

Room was not that accessible

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was fine; I needed an accessible room due to a recent injury. The handicapped rooms were all on the fourth floor and at the very end of the hall, far from the elevator. The bathroom had a tub, not a walk-in shower. It was unusual. I would expect more from a Hilton hotel.

The hotel is in need of updating. Walls were chipped, paint peeling decor outdated. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable-lumpy and flat. The breakfast was poor. My daughter liked the waffle station but eggs were runny and tasteless. Biscuits hard and dry, etc. The desk staff were delightful-friendly, welcoming,and professional. We normally stay at Holiday Inn but tried Hampton. Bad choice

We liked the room as we requested a handicap room. It was clean and comfortable. But, there was a crowd of people in the hall outside our door having a party. It went on for over an hour that evening. We called the front desk twice with a complaint and she did come up twice and asked them to quiet down because they were getting complaints. It continued until well after 10 pm. When it finally stopped and we were able to go to sleep we were awakened by loud music coming through the wall. There weren't any doors for a good distance on that side of our room so we assumed it was where the laundry was done. It played all night long. When we went down for breakfast around 8:30 a.m. the eggs and gravy was empty, no meat available at all. Then we looked for the coffee all that was available was decaf. I need my morning caffeine. It was a nice hotel and was clean. But we just had a very bad experience.

My first room had a damaged door, which would not lock, which caused us to not feel safe. We changed rooms and the next room had a water leak with mold. They refused to move us into a different room and instead just canceled or reservation. We had to pay for another hotel and still have not been refunded for the nights we did not stay.
