Originally built in the 1880's as a summer cottage for a gilded age wealthy family, this delightful, lovely property is fully modernized and recently renovated with the greatest of care and attention to detail. Spacious individual rooms are replete with charming decorations and designed to enhance maximum comfort, and the spacious downstairs great room is furnished to reflect the period of the original home, complete with cozy spaces and a beautiful stone fireplace. But possibly its greatest attraction is the spectacular view of the bay and of Cadillac Mountain beyond. It is truly breathtaking! And the magic that pieces all of this together are the hosts, Nicole and Matt, who welcome you more like family than guests, and extend themselves to ensure your visit is both memorable and rewarding. And the breakfasts Nicole serves each morning? Good luck finding something this good in a Michelin starred restaurant! It's truly that special. Don't hesitate to book your stay at the Acadia Bay Inn. You'll be very happy you did!"
