Our stay was fine. Room never felt like it got cool. No one slept very well. There are quite a few unfinished edges in their “renovation”. They also took away the free breakfast. Not a deal breaker but disappointing.

The hallways were under construction, the hallways were also very damp and HOT making it feel like a sauna as you were walking around. The room was nice and comfortable.

The staff were very courteous and professional. Check in and out was easy. Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, and had ample amenities. I pre-paid for two breakfasts which were exceptional! They were well prepared with ample portions. And the service was excellent as well! There was ample parking on the side. The pool and area was nice and clean. The side door was not locked or secured, anyone could just walk in. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

IHG Ruined This Once Cool Hotel

We were not happy with the loss of the breakfast buffet. That was a huge reason for us coming to this hotel for football weekends. We will be looking at other hotels from here on out. The pillows are way too big and hurt my neck. The corporate washing of this hotel has ruined the quaintness. I think the ridiculous addition of the shelf over the AC is a waste of effort.

The a/c in the hall outside our room was not working so the hall way was super muggy and I feel like our room a/c struggled and there was no way to adjust it. There was a major crack in the window in the hallway just outside our room as well. Construction seemed to be going on everywhere with paint buckets, light fixtures etc. sitting around everywhere. On our way back from midnight yell (which is at least a mile and a half walk) the security was completely disconnected on an exterior door allowing anyone to come in that wanted. The exterior looks nice but it’s hard to find the front door and it really needs a lot more work!

Was a very unpleasant stay. Shower had minuscule water pressure (like a drip), killed a roach, got two flat tires in the parking lot, the carpet was nasty and sticky, and water leaking in 3rd floor entry way and floor was extremely slick, hot, etc. The staff was very friendly and provided a quick check in process.

I liked that they took our dogs but for the first time they charged 35.00 per dog. Oh well! I will stay somewhere else that doesn't charge so much when we travel with dogs.
