There are 2 elevators and only one was working. So going up-and-down took a lot longer, and we were also told we could use the service elevators, which ended up being an inconvenience for the workers because they would be packed with guests. We got there on a Thursday, and we ran into people who had been there since Sunday and said that the elevator was broken since then. So it took a long time for them to get them fixed. I understand that may not be in their control.
But it was less than adequate when you consider there are 18 floors. The bathroom in our room was gross. There were what looked like bloodstains on the bathroom floor outside of the bathtub, as if someone had their period and the blood dripped on the floor and overall the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in a long time. The bathtub had mold on the grout water dripped the entire time in the bathtub, and the bathtub was stained like rust. The hand towel rack fell off the wall when my husband went to dry his hands. The hallway was very dark and dingy. This hotel could definitely use a lot of updating. It was just an average hotel, and for some reason, I thought we were getting something better than this. Most of the staff was nice, and when we told them the issues that we had they decreased our bill. However, if I went back to that area, I would not stay there again. I would probably go across to the Courtyard where my brother and his family stayed, and they said it was, it's nice.
