This unit (1bd/1bath, 3 guests, 2 beds) is on the second floor with beautiful ocean view. Located just steps away from the Carlsbad State Beach. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset views. Just minutes away from most things such as restaurant, Bar, cafe shop, convenience store etc.
If there is anything you'd like to have while you're here, don't hesitate to request is in advance! We try to be as accommodating as possible.
Recently renovated and remodeled with modern decorating and furnishing. Comfortable bedrooms feature King size bed. With a two-seat sofa which can be pullout into a bed. The property features refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, television, AC, heating, celling fan. Two barbecue grills on the front yard is shared with other guests (total 4 units in the building). Our fill kitchen includes basic cookware, utensils, and dishes. Guests can use the washer and dryer inside the unit or the community machines in the laundry room. We are a Non-Smoking Property. There is no smoking inside or outside on our property. Including the balconies.

Location is excellent, host was responsive, property had all (but one) of the amenities we wanted and none we didn’t.Only concern was a common one among STVRs (short-term vacay rentals): unlike a physical key, a numeric door code is easily shared such that dozens of people — cleaners, prop managers, maintenance people, former occupants — all could potentially gain access 24 hrs a day without occupant’s knowledge. A physical lock from the inside (old school chain or deadbolt) would provide a truly secure and restful stay.Worth noting: parking spot ceiling was a bit short so those with high profile vehicles should plan to find street parking, which can be a challenge at times.

Excellent location! Right across from beach. Good view from our rental. All the amenities inside the house. Couch comfortable and pulled out. Kitchen well stocked. Had our own parking spot which was important in the area as we saw people trying to find spots. There is a shed with all kinds of beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas etc. communication with Jason was Amazing!! He is quick to respond and made our stay stress free.

This condo is a gem! The property is steps away from the beach and near many dining options. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable and the beach gear was a wonderful surprise! If we make our way back to Carlsbad, we will definitely stay here again :)

Dissapointed to say the least

Staying in Carlsbad is expensive, I get that, but I would just assume that the quality would match the cost. That is not what this unit does. Furnishings are low budget. There was an ant infestation in the kitchen. When reported to the owner, he gave me the name of a pest company to call. Why would it be my responsiblity..??..Our last full day there, the water heater broke. No hot water for a full day. He gave us a credit of $100.00...about 5% of total cost. Again, not what I would have expected. We visit Carlsbad often because may Daughter live near by... but won't be returning to this place.

Location is the saving grace to this place that’s the only thing.

Starting with the only positive is that this place is directly across Carlsbad Blvd from the beach and the stairs to the beach. That, is unfortunately, the only great part of this place. The check-in is pretty simple and the door requires an electronic code rather than a traditional key, which is nice but also leaves question to who has access to this place while you’re away. The bathroom has been remodeled with late 90s tumble stone travertine and a vessel bowl sink that puts the edge of the bowl at about 42”. If you’re short, this isn’t a place that you want to wash your hands or brush your teeth. The cabinets in the bathroom and the kitchen are heavily used and repaired and repaired again. They are white so most won’t even care because they look like a cheap version of a property brothers flip from about 6 years ago. The stairs outside leading to the 2nd floor are so creaky and noisy that someone weighing over 130lbs will question their dietary choices and have a concern as to whether they are going to fall through while carrying their luggage. The cleanliness was just not…there are ants all over the unit along with TERRO ant bait traps in every nook and cranny of every room along with 2 cans of Raid ant and roach killer under the kitchen sink. The stove and countertop were sticky and we got the opportunity to clean everything. Ants in the cabinets, sink, counters, bathroom, bedroom and closet. The bed is lumpy and high centered. Find another place

Great place to stay

What great find. Love the location and the parking. Facility had everything we needed to make a great stay. We were in unit D, it is a bit small but worked for my wife and I and two grandkid. Just across the street for the beach. The parking is a MAJOR plus! Don’t have to worry about loosing your parking spot if you go somewhere. The bed was really comfortable. Kitchen had everything. There were toys and chairs in the storage room. This will be our go to place from now on. Will probably go for the bigger unit next time. Great price for the location.

Lovely beach getaway

Pros: location is lovely. Carlsbad, cute shops and restaurants are all walkable distance. King Mattress is awesome, very cushy! We appreciated all the beach chairs and extras! Cons: the road noise from the 101 drowns out the ocean sounds which was sad, and listing stated we could do laundry in the unit or in the shared space; there isn’t laundry in the unit, but that’s us being really picky. Loved our stay here and very grateful to have a clean and safe spot to relax for a few days!

Wedding weekend

Stayed here for a wedding near by. Family occupied the fron top rental which was nice for gathering and ocean view. Unit D was real hot and muggy when we arrived but cooled down quickly with AC...But bedroom needed fans to blow cold air to the bedroom which there were fans provided, but I also took my own. Super cute , clean and more than we needed for the weekend stay. recommended.

Best location for a beach getaway

Literally across the street from steps to the beach and a safe crosswalk. Apartment is small but clean, updated and provided everything we needed for a weekend staycation. Storage area has many common beach needs such as umbrellas, chairs, sand toys and boogie boards.

Beautiful beach house

My family and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! The property was very nice, and very clean. When we had questions, the owner got back to us right away. We all slept really well, including our 1 year old. The location was perfect. The owner supplied beach equipment so when we went to the beach, we had chairs, sand toys, an umbrella, and a tent. We loved that the beach was just across the street. We had a great vacation and highly recommend this property!
