Enjoy most amazing weeks in Villa Sunset Serenade. The Miami lounge style living room, the big open kitchen, the intersecting canal view bedrooms, free WIFI up to 75 mbit, free telephone calls across the USA. All three bathrooms are lovely done up, perfectly tidy and clean and will make you feel like you're in paradise. The large outdoor area fully covered with an insect screen and the nice large heated pool and spa from which you can enjoy a perfect view over the four intersecting channels who are alongside the house. For boating fans we have a new boat dock installed. The Villa is next to many supermarkets and Cape Coral is a perfect basis for any trips into the country, let it be Sanibel Island, the Everglades, Fort Myers, Tampa, Miami or Orlando, known for several theme parks such as Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios and Sea World.

There was no welcome letter, and no one came to explain anything about the house to us. The listing on VRBO site has obviously not been updated in several years. The photos do not reflect what the house currently looks like. The house had a lot of maintenance issues. For example, the toilets in the half bath and the full guest bathrooms did not flush and needs to be replaced. The master shower had no hot water and was hard to turn on. The kitchen was not new, the faucet sprayer did not work properly, and the floor had multiple damaged spots. The master bedroom carpeting is completely coming apart. It is obvious that general maintenance and upkeep have not been performed on this house. Also, a mandatory extra insurance has to be purchased which was not disclosed until completing the reservation process.

The house is wonderful and has everything you could want for a vacation. We were 4 adults and a 10-year old and everyone had what they needed. Very clean, everything worked, and there were loads of towels! With all the dips into the spa and pool, that was a plus.

Excellent stay – Home was beautiful, well equipped with all amenities, super clean, owners were quick to respond to rental request, property manager Tonnie was exceptionally quick respond to our 2 minor questions upon arrival. We enjoyed the Pool, Hot Tub, BBQ grill and Water view. Publix grocery store was less then 5 minutes away as well as some nice restaurants. We will give Tonnie 10 stars if we could her husband John and her really went out of their way to help us out of a jam upon leaving. We forgot our Passports in the house and already checked in our rental car. Tonnie’s husband John drove to the Airport with our passport to save us. A very class act – Thank You, Thank You !!!!!!!!

The hot tub was not operating properly when we go there. I don't think the pool was cleaned before our arrival so they hot tub did not get looked at. We got it fixed finally late Monday. Evidently problem with the breaker. Spa light was out the entire time. Tile broken on floor covered up with a slippery rug was a hazard. The property no longer has a welcome instruction booklet. The lovely property owner's live in Germany so I think their management company is not making them aware of alot of the problems. We had a problem with Ac later in the week and outlets were flickering. Also sliding glass door latch didn't work. This was all repaired the last day we were there. Aside from that. The property is so comfy. Spacious. Well stocked with everything imaginable. Kitchen,kayaks,floats etc. Wow. It was great. Gorgeous view. Quiet neighborhood. Use of the garage was a perk. The lanai is awesome. Only fallback to that is their is not any outside lighting for nighttime. Its dark. This property is way too nice to not just have a few things updated. Pillows,lighting in the pool area and the ceiling fans. We did love our stay but want to be honest. :)

Relax and unwind, enjoy the sunshine

This was our 3rd family trip to this beautiful home during 4th of July week. Enjoyed the pool, bbq, playing games or watching movies in the evening. Grand daughter even fished a little with her Pops. Lovely fireworks from all angles.

Truly Paradise

The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. Well stocked, including kitchen and laundry supplies, towels, sheets, even some toiletries. There are also two kayaks, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys, pool floats, everything you need whether you’re staying in or going out to enjoy the amazing weather. The view is absolutely stunning, and we appreciated the ability to heat the pool or hot tub as needed. The property also includes a dock, we really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding right from the backyard. There are miles of canals all within reach of this rental. Inside is also gorgeous, with so much space, and the neighborhood is beautiful and felt very safe. Restaurants and groceries were within a 10 minute drive or less. Less than an hour to Sanibel Island and beaches south of Fort Myers. The host was friendly and communicative throughout our stay. Can’t recommend this rental enough, and if we find ourselves visiting Cape Coral again, this would be our #1 choice.

Relaxing stay

This was our 2nd stay, this time for 3 weeks. So relaxing and we spent much of the time just chilling by the pool. The house has everything you need for a home from home stay and we recommend this property 100% ! We’re already looking at dates for another visit !

Perfect Canal Location

This house is perfect for a family as the house is large and spaced out so 2 bedrooms and bathroom are on one end and the master bedroom and another bedroom with bathroom is on the other end of the house. There are four doors to access the pool area which is handy. Very safe area, the house is perfectly situated on intersecting canals so wide view and very private. We did not use the kayaks or fishing rods but they are included. The pool and hot tub are very clean and well maintained but lack detailed instructions for use. There is a remote that controls the pool and hottub and is confusing if not familiar. The owner was very helpful in providing guidance to use and we had no further problems. The sofas in the livingroom are very nice and comfortable. Updated photos of the outside would be nice for future renters as the color is now white with some new updates. The location is perfect for local trips to shopping or a day on Sanibel Island or Fort Myers Beach.

Awesome outdoor area - beautiful. Loved all the space, reclining couches, & kitchen extras. Only negative was that the entrance to the twin bedroom was through the master bedroom.

Amazing House and Pool

The pictures do not do this amazing house justice. Lovely living space and bedrooms with lots of storage. Outside area was beyond our expectations due to a fantastic pool and outstanding view overlooking the canal. The owner was very accommodating with allowing us to checkout three hours later due our late flight home, which we were very grateful for. I would not hesitate to rebook.

Relax and Enjoy the Beautiful Views

This is our 2nd year coming to this house. It was a fantastic relaxing vacation with my family. We enjoyed the beautiful views while spending the day relaxing in the pool. Enjoyed the outdoor space cooking out and not bothered by any bugs thanks to the pool screen/cage. Enjoyed a movie on the comfy couches at night. Beds are very comfy and slept like a baby.

2024 Family Vacation

This property's view is spectacular! The pool was great and the adults and kids enjoyed their time. The house exterior is now painted white, has a black metal roof and the lani is brand-new and black. The reason I mention this is that we pulled up to the house and had to triple-check it was the right one. :) Updated pictures would be nice for VRBO. The hosts were very good a communicating if we needed anything and the location was close to everything. One recommendation is for better grilling tools. My husband burnt himself nightly grilling with short utensils. No other complaints and simply enjoyed our week's stay.

This is our fourth stay and as usual the house does not disappoint. Great location, clean, and the house is so spacious! Even though it rained (so no trips to the beach) it didn’t put a damper on our trip because we had the pool so we could take immediate advantage of break in the weather.

Perfect getaway and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The pool and outdoor space is amazing, a few things need to be updated but overall it was a great experience. We had a little trouble with one of the beds but when we called they came and fixed it right away. Would definitely stay here again as it is centrally located to do many things in the area.

Vacation with friends

This property is lovely and we had a very relaxing stay. The pool, large pool deck and view were the best. Pool faces S/SW so we had sun well into the evening with beautiful sunsets. There are one or two minor’dings’ as a result of the last hurricane but did not affect our stay at all. The new lanai and furniture outside are perfect, along with the super comfy new couches inside ! Communication with the owners was great and we were happy to get to meet them in person. 😊 We would love to come back and recommend this property 100%.

Just perfect!

Our family of five just stayed at Liana‘s property this April and it was perfect! It was just what we were looking for to relax! The location is great. It is pretty centrally located so you can easily plan a day trip to Fort Myers or Sanibel Island. The house is very well equipped and very clean and comfortable. We would love to stay there again!
