"We recently checked into this hotel after making the booking a couple of weeks ago, only to find out it's changed hands and is now a City Express Marriott property. This was a bit confusing upon check-in, but we found the room to be satisfactory and staff to be very helpful. The breakfast definitely left something to be desired. Offerings were a bit sad looking and no fruit at all. Upon checkout, I found that my credit card was set to be charged again for the night I had pre-paid for using a 3rd party (Hotels.com). Understandable as their system had changed and that always tends to bring about issues. The assistant manager was very helpful in figuring out how to rectify this situation and even gave me a personal call to let me know all had been solved. All in all, if you need a better priced hotel near Bend and don't mind the drive, this is a great option. The breakfast isn't great and the beds are a bit hard, but the staff was lovely and the room was clean and quiet."
