upon checking in, I was told the incidental fee was going to be $200 and being a sound mind I knew the lovely girl checking me in, (her name was Gigi) wasn’t in charge of this rule and I only had $100 on my card which is typically what a hotel charges anyway she was really good about it and said she would check us in anyways as I had asked if my spouse’s card would work, but I had to call him and she was just so sweet and kind about everything … therefore it was a lovely check in. I don’t think $200 should be an instant dental fee, though just so the higher-ups at coast Plaza can maybe revisit that it’s kind of ridiculous…. Other than that happy with the room, it was clean. Bed was pretty comfortable a bit squeaky but that’s OK. Pillows were comfy. TV was good. The room had a little kitchenette.-and the toilet had a bidet which I thought was super cool. I’ve never used one so that was fun…. Maybe I have different ideas of fun lol

Overall a great accommodation! The kitchen was impressive; it even had a dishwasher … Parking wasn’t fantastic (especially for the price), but I was able to find a spot, at least.

Had a good stay at the Coast Calgary downtown location. It was clean and well located. We were in a two bedroom unit on the 10th floor. You can still hear city noise but not too badly. We paid extra $25 for parking. There were some dishes missing and no decaf coffee but we called down and they brought stuff to us ASAP so no issues there. Our bathroom was a bit small but it had one of those new fancy toilets (like in Japan and Korea) and the girls had fun trying the heated seat and the bidet features! Would recommend this hotel.

Our room had broken light switches, desk drawer was hanging by a thread broken off of both hinges, someone’s shoes were in the closet from before. When we called down about this they said they would send someone up and nobody ever came. Photos online look nothing like the building itself. Very dirty, old, dingy looking. Charged us for an “early” check in and turns out it wasn’t even the correct room we booked, tried to call down to switch and we were told no. Hallway stunk and was very dirty. Overall not a good experience for the money spent and I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Overall Experience My stay at Coast Calgary was both pleasant and convenient for a weeklong family trip. The hotel’s downtown location made it easy to reach restaurants, coffee shops, and transit options, which enhanced our visit. Cleanliness and Comfort The two-bedroom suite was spotless, with comfortable beds and reliable amenities like WiFi and a smart TV. The bathroom featured an electric bidet that worked perfectly, and housekeeping maintained the suite to a high standard throughout our five-night stay. Location and Amenities Being situated on 4th Ave SW put us within walking distance of multiple coffee shops and downtown attractions. The included Starbucks coffee and free parking added extra value and convenience to our experience. Staff Service Every interaction with the front desk staff was positive—they made check-in quick and smooth, offered helpful local recommendations, and were always available to assist with questions or requests. Value The nightly rates were reasonable considering the size of the suite, central location, and included perks. For families or travelers seeking comfort and convenience without breaking the bank, this hotel delivers great value. Recommendation I highly recommend Coast Calgary for family getaways, business trips, or anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay in Calgary.

The staff was excellent and the suite was clean. I had booked for 3 nights but was unable to stay. The front end staff was very accommodating and only charged me for the 1 night. Hotels are not always so accommodating. They will get my business again.

The hotel was in a rather quaint section of the city, even though there were construction, as it seemed to be the season for it, the noise didn't bother us. I recommend the hotel for extended stays or longer.
