This place offered a clean and quiet stay for us during the Christmas season at a very reasonable price.
Like in many European cities, public transportation is the best way to get around. However, it’s still possible to stay here if you have a car. Our group was traveling in a large 9-passenger van, and street parking is available if you’re patient and willing to drive around a bit. Just download the parking app, keep your account funded, and you’re good to go. There’s also a 24/7 museum parking garage within walking distance.
The apartment is located on a street with restaurants, convenience stores, a pharmacy, and ATMs nearby, which makes it very convenient for tourists.
The interior of the apartment is clean and spacious. It has a washing machine and a heated drying rack for small loads of laundry. There are also laundromats in the city for larger loads if needed. My favorite was Self service laundry - Önkiszolgáló mosoda Blaha Lujza térnél, which is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
The apartment is on the 4th floor of the building, so it may not be suitable for guests who have difficulty climbing several flights of stairs.
