Rydges South Bank is a very good hotel that is in a great location. The room are standard but clean and comfortable - we really liked the balcony with excellent views of the city. We would come back.

The Hotel is very clean and has comfortable beds. I like to stay here because the prices were affordable, and I was able to walk everywhere because it was very close to shopping and food areas. Also, I was able to walk near the river and cross the bridge to the other side, and enjoy the views from the top of another hotel.

It was very walkable and attached to all the major transportation types you could ask for. This allowed my wife and I a lot of freedom of movement for dining, exploration of the city and countryside, and basically to have a wonderful time. The wonderful breakfasts kicked off our day great!

Was not informed about the cost of parking at any time prior to getting there. We only realised the costs when we saw the sign placed on top of the concierge desk in the late afternoon. They could have told us at the check-in desk or when handing over the car keys - had plenty of opportunity to tell us. Not happy!
