Baton Rouge trip

There was mold in the room , showed pictures to front desk. Counter was sticky. Hot tub was very hot was told 108 degrees and the pump over heated and it did not work.

Lava Jaccuzzi/Scalding hot tub

Our room was clean but the drain plug in the sink was permanently stuck so the sink wouldn’t drain. They moved us easily to another room, so no complaints there. We specifically booked at this location because we wanted to sit in a jacuzzi after a long day of traveling. However, we noticed that NO ONE was in the jacuzzi (there were quite a few people in the pool). My husband stepped into the jacuzzi and realized that it was absolutely SCALDING!! Painfully so. He’s the type of person who showers in extremely hot water. Other people noticed our attempt and said that they, too, could not withstand the painful heat of the hot tub. So I was too scared to even try it out. Imagine a little child (of which there were many that night), slipping and falling in! My husbands foot came out bright red, and he’s a dark skinned Asian. Bright red! Even 15 minutes later, his skin was STILL bright red. We were too tired by that point to try and see if there was a way to adjust the temperature. All in all, we really liked our room and everything, the staff was awesome. Just sad about the hot tub.

This hotel was just ok overall. The breakfast experience was terrible. We waited 10 minutes to get clean plates. When no one came to help us, we had to get the person working the front desk to help us. When we finally got clean plates, there was basically nothing left on the breakfast buffet. Worst breakfast experience we've ever had. The property itself was ok. It needs some deep cleaning in a few areas. Also, the hot tub worked once but then never again for us the entire trip.

This property was ok. The overall property was clean but when we got to our room, the toilet was dirty on the bottom. This is why I gave it only 3 stars for cleanliness. Otherwise, the staff was terrific, and we loved the breakfast. The fitness center and pool was awesome as well.
