Nice Room

Room was very nice. Front desk staff came across as mostly unhelpful and disinterested in being there. The lady when I checked out was good, but the two guys working the desk at different times of day on Sat appeared to want to be somewhere else.

The overall stay was good, however we were very upset that they had construction on the hotel and there was no disclosure about this. Monday morning the crews were literally outside our door banging etc at 7am. We spoke to the manager on our way out and he apologized, but it was short and he didnt care. No discount, no future discount nothing . Just sorry about that.

My family and I went to visit my son for LSU family weekend. From the moment we pulled up to the entrance our experience was phenomenal. We were greeted by Kelly and Devin and they honestly made us feel so welcomed and at home. They were very knowledgeable about the area and LSU activities which was definitely a plus. We were there two nights they were very accommodating and remembered us, which is definitely plus. The grounds were very well kept, room was cool and comfortable. Front desk staff always helpful and prompt with requests. The night staff was just as pleasant. Will definitely being staying again.

During my stay they were doing upgrades. I was not notified of the work that would be going on until I head the sound of hammers and drills extremely early in the morning. It was so loud I had to reschedule my virtual meetings. It wasn’t until I checked out did I notice a sign stating they were renovating and to excuse the noise. When I made mention there was no signage to the staff the response was a stale “sorry.”

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room has a smell to it, but thank God we travel with Frebreeze and Lysol. There was excessive stumping and walking over our heads and finally, on the day of exit, one of the cleaning people tried to walk in our room at 9:00AM, Checkout is at 11:00AM, hello!!! The Good rating was based off of the staff and overall cleanliness of the property.
