Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
I am very sorry to have to write this review. My husband and I were renting because we were going to settlement on a house in the area and needed a place to stay for a few days. We were moving from out of state and had our dogs with us. The rental was clean but cheaply furnished and appointed. Lots of decorations but not enough lighting, warped plastic plates, icemaker not working, etc. We had picked this place because it had a fenced yard, but we were attacked by biting insects in the grass (it seemed infested) and so unusable. There was a questionable area behind the sheds, too, piles of rotting wood and the fence falling apart in places. The trash bins outside were overflowing with maggots visible in the garbage. We left even though we had paid for another night. We were just going to put this unfortunate experience behind us but then the owner contacted me complaining that the dogs had left "excess hair" on her washable furniture covers and had "ruined" her polyester sheets--but the sheets were in fine condition when we left. Overall a very unpleasant experience.
