Résidence Marina Beach
"The Residence is an older style beachside stay. It has character, easy going but very secure. Close to the beach and away from the traffic. Self contained and with a quality supermarche in close walking distance. The bus stop is virtually outside the door but this area is fantastic for walking and ..."

Auberge du Mocambo - Hostel
"Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine."

Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences
"The positive - spacious room with kitchenette and balcony with perfect ocean views. The reception staff and cleaners were very friendly and polite and assisted when requested. Hotel location close to multiple restaurants and over the road from the beach. 20min walk to Lemon Bay and further restaurants. Bus stop outside hotel for buses to Noumea. Hotel arranged a shuttle pickup and drop off which was required as the airport was an hour away. The negative - hotel was undergoing extensive renovations so we were awoken at 7:30 daily by drilling etc which continued through the day until evening. The cleaning crew dragging their carts repeatedly outside the room door and 3 times in a week knocked on our door around 8am (we had a do not disturb sign which kept blowing off the handle). The balcony was great but very close and overlapping with neighbours so cigarette smoke, noise and dragging furniture was regularly heard. Majority of the negatives were avoidable and appreciated renovations are rare but emailing us prior to our trip should have been done as we had may have chosen to make alternative arrangements."
