There were a lot of issues in the hotel that made our holidays not enjoyable as we were expecting. These are:
[ ] Some of the hotel areas look old and a bit smelly;
[ ] The name of the hotel was Le Méridien Noumea Resort & Spa which was part of the Marriott Bonvoy group. I'm member of the group so I thought it would have some high quality as the hotels of the group and also I would get some points with it but, for my surprise, one day before I arrived, the hotel name was changed and it is not part of the Marriott Bonvoy anymore. Theres was no communication about it anytime and I felt so disrespectful.
[ ] The employees were very polite but not enough people to assist us in the reception or restaurant.
[ ] Misinformation as some questions we made were answered differently from the real (example: they said the spa pool was free but when we went there it was paid). I believe to be a language barrier but they should be trained for it as it's an international hotel.
[ ] No activities for kids or adults.
[ ] The area of the pool were very slippery and danger for kids. My daughter slipped a couple of times and I saw other kids as well. Luckily was nothing serious.
Unfortunately I'm very disappointed and they kind of ruined my holidays.
