"Our stay at the Country Inn was eventful as a near hurricane blew through the area knocking out power to the hotel, and surrounding, for over 7-hours. Altnough, the situation wasn't ideal it gave the opportunity for the staff to shine. They did. Helpful, professional, kind and friendly is the only ways to describe this group. Even in emergency mode they remained calm and professional throughout. Our 5-star rating on this property is based purely on the staff."

"Best thing about the Jefferson is its staff, they have helpfulness and accommodation down to a fine art. Most appreciated amenity is the car service which makes getting to where you're going during your stay as easy as possible. The hotel restaurant was not inspiring, rather limited menu. All in all, though, a great stay in a great city."
