Great space for easy Disney access

This was our first stay at the Tropicana and it was lovely. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. We were a party of 4 staying for one night in one room with 2 double beds and we had plenty of space. The parking was super easy and the distance to the park was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the Tropicana staff for making the stay so easy.

Great stay!

Room was clean and comfortable. I like that the sink area is outside of the actual bathroom. Our trash cans were emptied and a few more towels were left for us but the beds were not made, not sure why. Other than that, it was a great stay. My husband likes the room very cold and I called down to the front desk at midnight for a blanket. I had someone at my door with a cozy blanket within 5 minutes of my phone call! Easy checkout via email.

I’ve had better

Customer service was good during check in. They offered valet which was nice. Our two complaints have to do with the rooms. First there was about an inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. We kept seeing little mosquitos in the room and even found a small cockroach on the curtains, guessing they were coming through there. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. You can feel the springs in the bed and when you put your head on the pillow you would sink straight to the bed. Good location but will not be booking again.

You get what you pay for. I got this room for convenience to the park, which is very very convenient. I did enjoy the downstairs. Mini Mart called the Cove. The cove had many cheap options for drinks and food. At night I felt a bit unsafe walking back, but I believe the area has just gone downhill in front of Disney. I would’ve felt unsafe at any of the hotels right there. Perhaps a shuttle to a nicer place is a better option. Motel like room was just as expected. I checked my bags at the front because our room wasn’t ready at first - the staff was very nice and it was very convenient. I wouldn’t stay here again only because of feeling unsafe.
