I booked a room for one adult and two children with confirmed reservation, yet upon arrival was asked to pay an additional €40 per night for one child because we "requested single beds." This makes absolutely no sense as:
1. My booking clearly indicated the exact occupancy (1 adult 2 children)
2. Any room offered should accommodate this occupancy at the stated price
3. The hotel should have factored appropriate bedding into the original rate
Even more frustrating, the room already had a sofa bed, so no supplementary beds were even necessary! This makes the €40/night charge completely unjustified.
The cleanliness was deeply concerning. Upon checking under the sofa bed, I discovered half-eaten food and debris. This means my children and I had been sleeping above this disgusting pile of rubbish for TWO NIGHTS before it was addressed. While staff did clean it after I complained, this level of neglect is unacceptable.
Overall, the property appears tired and in need of renovation.
One positive note: the waiter at the bar was friendly and attentive, providing the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay.
