Copthorne Downtown by Millennium
Slow check-in (15 mins to get my room) was into a good start, though receptionist was pleasant and apologised for long delay. Slightly tired looking hotel but comfortable and had nice buffet breakfast. Nice downtime location . Taxi drivers all seem to know where it is which helps.

Room was clean. However, electrical outlets were a bit dated. Staff was courteous at the reception. At about 1000 AED per night one expects more amenities than what we saw.
