This is a very large hotel . The pool area is a big disappointment. Sun is blocked by buildings and the restaurant and bar completely surrounded the pool. If you swim there you are very much !on display. I did not care for the breakfast. Many items but nothing really tased good. The staff were very nice although housekeeping came around 4 pm every day. Too late for me if returning from a long outing. Elevators were crowded and slow. There is a Sheraton and a Meridian hotel next door, I think the better choice. The restaurant is open to tour busses bringing large crowds for lunch. Lunch buffet no better than breakfast. No à la carte menu. Check in was very slow and room not ready until exactly 3pm.

Really nice rooms with great views, breakfast had lots of options and facilities in the hotel were really good. The only Down side in February was that the pool was not in the sun.

I gave my feedback in the other comment. Check-in was very slow. Room condition was really bad. The whole time was worn out for the beverage concepts are lazy. I definitely would not want to stay there again. I tried to check out, but unfortunately, my room had a cancellation policy. Pool is a joke. Everything is worn out an old you feel like you went to back to the 60s.

The check in was really bad to start, room wasn’t ready i had to check if it was 3 times no one called me when the room was ready. The room needed a lot of Maintaince a lot of things where over used. The hotel it self had really poor f&B really worn out the hotel over all is really not well taken care of, dirty in a lot of places, worn out more. The pool is a joke. Public bathrooms where a mess over all i tried to check into an other hotel after the first hour

We were fortunate to have a disabled room so there was plenty of room with great views. On our first day we left to visit Yas Marina F1 Circuit early in the morning and returned after 4pm and our room was still not done. We had to ask twice to have them come to do it. However, when Joyce did come, she was a delightful young woman and a great ambassador for the hotel. That was the only day we had the problem and the room was always spotlessly cleaned.

For two days our room did not have hot water. We requested on four different occasions and were told it was repaired but it was meet fixed . Finally a manager car to our room and also confirmed that no repairs were done and the water was still cold . We were offered to move rooms on the last night at 11pm which was not very convenient and declined the offer I was told the morning manager would help us out. When I went to the reception desk no manager was available. I waited for one hr then had to catch my cab to leave for Dubai. I was told a a manger would call me that afternoon but no one did. The next day I called the hotel and spoke to a manager who offered me to come back to the hotel and stay in a suit which was not well received as I had leafy Abu Dhabi and was in Dubai at another hotel.
