Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sioux Falls
"Stayed here one night traveling through Sioux Falls. I stayed here 12 years ago, so I decided to stay again. It's located downtown, and there were a couple of "interesting" people walking down the street. I didn't have any issues but probably wouldn't walk around here at night. The front desk person wasn't very personable, maybe she was busy with other stuff. When I asked what sort of places to eat were nearby, she just pointed me to the in-hotel restaurant and offered no other suggestions. Fortunately, I found the Phillips Avenue Grill, where I'd eaten when I was here before, was still in business. It was completely satisfactory this time too. Lots of other dining options along Phillips Ave; it's a short walk to the west of the hotel. Room was very comfortable, and even though I heard a train whistle a couple times, didn't keep me up. Breakfast was also good, and the person who set it up was very friendly. Checking out the next morning, I experienced the same sort of indifferent attitude from the morning person at the front desk. She didn't say two words, just handed me a receipt. Much younger person than the one from the night before, maybe her daughter? Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would stay here again. In addition, if you're up for a short walk, head north along the path along the river and you'll come to the actual Sioux Falls. Very scenic!"
