"My husband and I booked River Song Refuge with the intention of comfort, solitude, and peace. We were not disappointed! The inviting cabin was exactly what we were hoping for and met all of our needs, but the back porch is where the magic is. We spent most of our time on the porch listening to the symphony of birds and the rolling river. Each afternoon a quick rain shower popped up making the covered porch even more magical. My husband and I also ventured out to explore one of the many hiking trails mapped out in the 'House Book'. We came across fresh evidence of elk and bear and heard the warning of a rattler! Exciting! The hosts were responsive and genuinely cared about making our stay wonderful. They added thoughtful details in the cabin that made our stay comfortable. My suggestion is to purchase all of your provisions/food/drinks before reaching the cabin so you can spend all the special moments on the back porch."
