"The amenities at this hotel, make it worth the stay. The pool in proximity to the beach is excellent! The hot breakfast items are very good. The room itself leave a lot to be desired. There were big brown stains on the couch cushion a large stain going down the wall carpet was torn up and at one point, we received a towel that was viably stained. All things considered we would absolutely go back to this hotel. Especially now that we know what we would be walking into. The staff was excellent, and although they could not address our room concern with a room change, they did provide us with some vouchers to get food and drinks from their pool bar/restaurant."

"We chose to go back to the Tides after about 8 years and it was great to see this place was still awesome The Beach view was great, the room was clean and well maintained and the staff was as helpful and courteous. Parking was $10 a night which is well worth it because of the convenience and safety. Also plenty of places to eat near the hotel as well. It was a great time there."
