Lovely Remodeled Historic Carriage House apartment with loft on the Rosedell Estate. 2 bedrooms, plus 1 loft bedroom with washer and dryer, 1 double pull out sofa in the living room. Fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom and beautiful grounds. Historic, walkable neighborhood, 2 blocks from Franklin Park, public pool, Yakima Museum and Soda Shop. Very close to downtown. Great place to stay while visiting local wineries!

This is a lovely, impeccably decorated and extremely clean rental. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. There is a wonderful loft upstairs that was perfect for my friend and I to do yoga, there are HOOKs! I love when these places have hooks and they rarely do. It makes it so much easier to keep track of belongings. I felt an immediate sense of serenity when I turned onto the street leading to the carriage house and mansion. A huge part of why I say it is decorated impeccably is due to the tasteful modernization combined with a seamless nod to the building's history. Communication with the host was great and she even messaged me and allowed me to use their charging station. I was able to just leave without "filling up" and make it home without stoopping. I took many pictures to send to my daughters.

Beautiful neighborhood. The grounds are in immaculate condition. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need. The water pressure in the shower is awesome. The hosts are attentive where needed. Would stay here again.

This charming, well-maintained older home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a short stay. The peaceful, park-like setting was a lovely retreat after long, busy days. The only minor drawback was occasional noise from the tenants in the second unit, which might be noticeable to light sleepers.

My friend and I met for a girls weekend and were so impressed with how beautiful this was. The carriage house itself was great, had everything you could need, it’s quiet and the property was gorgeous! Very comfortable, easy to get anywhere from here. The history in the decor was a great touch.

Perfect location to explore Yakima Valley

Quiet residence in an upscale neighborhood, Clean and roomy apartment that functioned as a carriage house on the property of a larger estate. Well equipped kitchen, heated bathroom floor, and comfortable bedrooms. Lighting fixtures were quite artistic. Stairs up to the living space would exclude anybody with ambulatory issues. This is a beautiful and interesting place to stay. The grounds are gorgeous and the property is quiet and peaceful. Fast wifi suitable for videoconferencing. Stairs are step, so might not be the best place for those with mobility challenges. We’d love to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Carraige House. Once up the steep staircase you are presented with a very well set up place. Kitchen was well stocked for easy home cooking. I always like it when basics of cooking is availble such as oil, salt&pepper and herbs. Felt at home here. Beautiful garden also to sit in.

Wonderfully appointed rental

We stayed in this rental over a weekend with our 2 young kids. We found it to have a suprising amount of amenities, beautifully decorated, with friendly hosts and a great location. 10/10 would stay here again.

This place is located in the heart of old Yakima with amazing homes to see and park near by. The Cottage House is very nice, has a stairway at the entrance that leads up to a home with modern amenities including a heated bathroom floor (very nice!).

Ladies spa weekend

The Carriage House went well above our expectations. Our host was quick to respond and check-in was very easy. The two bedrooms and the loft were spacious but cozy with fresh and comfy linens. The kitchen had everything you need including some common spices and oil for cooking. There were plenty of yummy coffee options (Starbucks & Kirkland), including decaf, and creamers. The house boasts fun, artistic lighting and other rustic touches to showcase its history. We also appreciated the cozy, heated bathroom floor! The location was great as it is near downtown Yakima restaurants and within ten-to-fifteen minutes of some great wineries. I would caution those with mobility concerns as there is a very long and steep set of stairs to navigate from the entrance to to the main part of the house. I would return for another stay and would highly recommend to friends and family coming to visit the Yakima area.
