STAY AWAY!!

The only decent thing about this place was the two very nice front desk ladies. The place is being “renovated” and no where in the listing is this stated. The pictures do not match what you will see when you arrive. The elevator doesn’t work. The smoke alarm and sprinkler in the stairways are covered by tape; which is a fire code violation and safety hazard. There was blood on the lamp shades in our room. Unhoused individuals are living in the hotel, a quick Google can confirm this. Not a redeeming quality to this place. Management does not accept accountability for the false advertising or have any care for the guests that are there. The doors do not close properly; lock in our room was damaged. I could continue on, but I am limited on characters as well as pictures that can be uploaded.

Do not stay here. Really, I never complain

No. Just no. Do not stay here. I’m not picky but this place was too junky, and for $250?? When we arrived, the front desk person gave us these choices: be on the ground floor “where it is noisy with all the animals staying here - dogs, cats, lots of birds” or WALK up to the third floor, where it is quiet but we have to drag our suitcases up the staircase because the elevator is broken (and, judging by reviews, has been for a while / but the hotel didn’t tell us in advance…). We struggled up to the 3rd floor and found the hall floors covered in paint. It was so disgusting. The room was “okay” but very stripped down, nothing on the walls, window was wide open (in late October?), and the desk had paint stains on it, I almost checked out and left immediately - for the first time in my life at a hotel- but we were exhausted with few options available nearby. Awful place.

Staff was very nice. Outback Steak House is right next door as well as a Starbucks about a 3 minute walk. Small shopping mall right next door which you can walk. There was also a bigger mall which you could walk to or a 2 minutes drive. Also plenty of gas stations in both direction of the hotel. The hotel was being renovated and the elevator was not working but other than that, the stay was good.

Unfortunately, I booked this hotel without realising renovations were taking place. We booked in and our room was on the 3rd floor only to find out that the lift was out of service - this was not pointed out at the time of booking in. The stairs were very dirty and the carpet in the corridors was covered in paint. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room had been renovated but the furniture not been replaced - it was looking rather battered and the fridge had multiple dents in it. We had no choice but to stay as the booking was non-refundable so it would have been good to have had prior knowledge of the problems especially as the room was expensive.

The hotel was under construction which we were not told ahead of time. The hallways were dirty with construction dust/dirt. The elevator was out of order and we were on the third floor. Our room was very clean but the furniture was mismatched and the old furniture was chipped and stained. We have photos we would be happy to send.

We only stayed one night but in the morning upon getting up there were at least 3 cockroaches scurrying around the room. And the hotel was messy due to construction.
