Had a wonderful stay at the Lodge at Riverside. Comfy beds, amazing breakfast that serves until 11 and cooked by a chef, very clean, nice outdoor areas. Wine in the afternoon and cookies in the evening. Felt so pampered. Extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Definitely recommend!

Staff incredibly friendly. Room was beautiful and cozy. Balcony overlooking the river was peaceful. Stayed here to say goodbye to my mom for the last time so the balcony was really nice to just sit and feel the grief. There is road noise while sitting on the balcony and occasionally in the room if its a loud vehicle but it was ok. Breakfast was great, and staff was welcoming and friendly. It did get a bit warm overnight in the room even with the air conditioner set down to 66, it just didn't seem to be cooling as much as it had when we checked in. Lots of bedding on the bed, which was a bit much, again with the room being hot, but we made it work.

Kind, pleasant and professional staff who focus on the extra little things that make this hotel such a wonderful experience. For example, the complementary wine and cheese at happy hour, followed by complementary evening milk and fresh-baked cookies were a wonderful experience. Our only issue was that the ceiling directly above the shower in our bathroom has some mold growth. We will specifically note this to the staff, who we sure will rectify the issue as soon as possible.

Great location friendly staff

Friendly staff, great location. Not a fan of carpeting in hotel rooms and unfortunately the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully they are updating them soon. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating.
