Thin walls, curtains don't properly block outside light from cars, sheets were not very clean. Below average experience from what I expected from Motel 6. Normally it's at least clean.

Underperforming items first: Mattress definitely needed to be replaced, extremely worn and uncomfortable. Mini-fridge froze anything out in it. Surprisingly, the shower had excellent water temperature. Gentleman covering the front desk on 2 days of my stay was extremely helpful when I needed items to reheat & eat my dinner leftovers - provided plastic spoons & additional paper cups.

Apparently if you want a microwave & refrigerator, you can't have a ground floor room. That's a problem if you're old with bad knees and a tiny dog who needs to be carried up and down the stairs. Until this experience, I was unaware that motel rooms don't all have microwaves and refrigerators these days. Those are far more important than phones and televisions at this point.

Good location for on and off interstate. Close to gas and food. Staff friendly. Basic room good for a quick overnight. However, bathroom was only fair. Sink had cracks in it with grime and drained poorly, shower floor was the same. If the bathroom was better it would have been 4 stars.
