My say at the Westin was not good. I came in town of a wedding and Westin was recommend for the wedding party. I arrived at the hotel to check in and had trouble getting to the entrance because the road was under construction. We had to step in rocks, puddles of mud, and go through barriers, all of this form parking lot of the hotel, me and my wife’s shoes were ruined! we get to the counter to check in and the receptionist barley spoke to us and was not informative at all. I had to ask what’s my room #, where is the elevator, and what was the password to the WIFI? This is after I had the key card and walked back to where my wife was. There was someone else being check and I over hear the other receptionist explaining these things to them. the worst part of the night was when it was time for me to get some sleep. around 12:30 people in the room next to me were having a loud party and it keep me up! After about 30 mins I called down stairs for the first time and they said they would send someone to that room. That didn’t work because the people just got louder and started playing music that keep me up for the next hour and half. I called down a second time was told they would send someone up once again it took an additional 30 minutes before the noise stopped. This stay was just the worst! No good access, no good customer service, and no sleep for hours, my stay was just the worst and it is unacceptable!

Loud. Looks classy, but its a "party place". Room AC loud like a train. Sink n toilet unusually noisey too. Looks fancy, must have been factory seconds... Internet not included? Seriously, at this price? Not even coffee or Continental breakfast included? Two new hotels going up next to this place, hoping for better choices.....

Good value

Fine value for the money. I would say best hotel in its class. I have been going to Wilmington foe 13 yrs and I have a fair idea of all the hotels in the area. Beware the kitchen staff. They consistently get the orders wrong. The quality of the food is subpar considering the wonderful service otherwise.

Don't stay here! Upkeep is atrocious!

Pros: The shower was nice.
Cons: Have microwaves available, have working refrigerators, don't take 6 1/2 hours to fix an obvious problem, move the guest if the room is unsatisfactory.
Location: There are close by restaurants but they are pricey and the food is just so-so.
I requested a microwave and refrigerator when I booked. Upon arriving the clerk told me there was not a microwave in the room but would see about getting me one. When I got to the room the refrigerator wasn't not working, so I called and requested to change rooms, no go, they said they would send a tech up to fix it. So I tried to get some exercise in the pool, it's so shallow that I scraped the top of my feet swimming (only 3 feet deep!) Meanwhile, the desk called and said that they had no microwaves and hung up on my husband before he could say anything, clerk was surly to him. I got back to the room after my crummy swim, fridge still not working. 6 1/2 hours after I complained, in the NIGHT after we went to bed, the tech finally shows up and fixes the fridge. Goes back to sleep, wake up a couple of hours later all hot and sweaty, the AC had stopped working. Called and complained, the said it would be fixed right away. It was fixed sometime the next morning, but then the room was frigid! This hotel has very poor upkeep and they just don't care.

Affordable luxury.

Pros: Clean. Soft bedding. Indoor pool.
Cons: n/a
Location: Easy to get to off of major interstate.
Our family enjoyed our stay. The beds and linens were particularly comfortable. Lots of pillows. The pool was nice, but smallish. Bathroom spacious. Rain showerhead fun! Liked that there were 2 luggage racks.

Pros: Provided solutions to any bulbs in the road... everyone wants to make sure you are happy from check in to room services to restaurant.
Location: Riverfront area has lots of nice walks & eats. Short drive to anything else. Very pretty setting for Wilmington area.
This hotel never disappoints! They go out of their way to extremes to insure your stay is memorable & great... can't speak highly enough of this place, especially the staff which ensures your happiness in every way possible. One of my absolute favorites!!!
