Our shower wasn’t working (the knob turned in circles but no water came out) and apparently this was a known issue as there is no way that either the guest immediately prior to our stay or the cleaning staff wouldn’t have noticed. The maintenance visit was prompt however it was not a simple fix and the maintenance worker didn’t have the parts needed to correct the issue. No accommodation to use another shower on the property was offered. We were forced to leave without a shower, late for morning engagement and without an apology from the staff.

This was the best little Inn. Loved the babbling brook and the decor. We will definitely be back.

We were placed in a room that was near either heating or plumbing facilities and heard banging on the other side of the wall that lasted for 2 to 10 min every 1-2 hrs throughout the night . We were told it was due to some sort of problem and they would look into it .

It's very "quaint" so there's some appeal to that but there's also a lot of bugs that make it into the room and the blanket had some weird stains that were pretty scary.. when I mentioned this to the front desk they just said "huh"...

Older motel outside of Williamstown, MA

Pros: Location.
Cons: Signage; air circulation within the room.
Location: Near Williams College, The Clark Art Museum, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival; not far south of MassMOCA in North Adams.
The motel has three venues on two sides of Route 7 south of Williamstown. On a rainy gray afternoon, it was difficult to find the office to check in; the only ice machine was outside the office on the other side of Route 7, a hike in the rain. The office attendant did come over when I couldn't figure out the cable TV--there were two remotes, only one was relevant. The breakfast was adequate, but again it was difficult to find on the other side of the highway. The room smelled musty.

New Years Eve stay

Rooms were clean & roomy..0 degrees, so hotel staff brought in a portable heater. Short walk to the Pub on the grounds for a delicious dinner. Made a reservation& we were given a beautiful seating. Shrimp cocktail & fried scallops delicious. Very festive atmosphere & breakfast was very nice with a pancake maker (all you do is press the button to start) delicious. Definately hope to return.

Update please

Not quaint just in need of an update Musty smell was horrible ........ No fan in the bathroom .......... Please just remove the curtains!!!
