Exactly as advertised
Clean properly, nice neighborhood, exactly as advertised online. Bring bug spray if you’re staying in the spring/summer. Lots of Mesquitos but that’s the area.

The perfect little getaway
My wife and I stayed at Dogwood Cottage and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect quiet break we needed away from work/our baby and we had a really great time. The cottage was extremely clean and the host was very communicative. It’s in the perfect quiet area but still close to Tyler. We loved it!

Perfect tiny cottage
What a beautiful tiny cottage! Immaculately clean and thoughtful details, this little place has so many lovely features. You can tell they took their time to think of everything! It is off the beaten track and hidden back in the secluded woods but still so close to town! It was perfect for a quick get away in the quiet. Highly recommend!

Small but cute and cozy
Pros: Easy check in and check out. Good communication with owner. Out in the country, enjoyed watching the goats play across the road. Other houses were closer than it seemed in the pictures online but it wasn't an issue for us. Very clean, it stayed nice and cool inside. One big open space and a bathroom. We didn't use the hot tub or fire ring so I can't review those. Wifi worked for the most part for us which i had been worried about bc i read others had problems with it. Cons:Wish there had been room on the deck to sit and have my coffee but there is a bench on the front porch. Maybe if we had run the extra fan at night it wouldn't have been an issue but the bed was too squeaky and we woke each other up in the night so that was unfortunate. Also I will say that the tv is on the small side and too low for both people in bed to watch comfortably. Without having a couch, you need to be on the bed to lounge and watch tv.

Our stay at dogwoodridge was amazing. The upkeep of the cottage was amazing! It was clean, and peaceful. We stayed for one night, and had everything we needed in the cottage. The serene land and hot tub was a plus for our visit. We will definitely be staying here again❤️ The owners weren’t far away and that was nice to know.
