Kids love it, especially the pool, the outdoor pool and the jacuzzi. The only thing that does not work well is the exhaust fan in our bathroom: it can not be turned off (probably broken).

Family time

We stayed at the Horstman for 4 nights. We love the area as it’s only a 15 minute walk to the upper village, it’s quiet and has fantastic amenities. The room was clean and spacious. Front desk is always pleasant to deal with and can answer all questions. Bike storage area is also easy to get in and out of.

I liked the location and unit was nice but a few issues with it. There were no essentials in the kitchen such as condiments for cooking. The kitchen space was very tight and small for a 2 bedroom. The parking space was very tight and hard to park in and out of it. The garbage/recycle location were not marked well and hard to find. No front desk customer service available during our stay.

I was not made aware that reception closed at 5, I arrived at 5:02 because i went to the parking area first. I then had to travel to another property to register. I am glad i didn’t have to walk! The property itself is well situated with a bus stop close by. It is a quiet property with lovely trees surrounding it.

Parking stall was super narrow. I was lucky, spot next to me was not occupied, otherwise I would not get into my vehicle. No house keeping provided at all, at the end you need to remove garbage yourself:/

Did not like the ridiculously small parking spaces! Did not like the difficulty in going thru three sets of doors to use ski lockers. Do like the property itself that backs up to the woods and the easy to use free bus back and forth to the village.
