Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge
We LOVED our stay! We were offered dinner - a chicken and potato curry- which we took them up on. It was by far the best meal I’ve had in NZ- home cooked, tasty and so flavourful! We loved the garden area and the deck. It was one of our best stays. 100 percent recommended!!

Waitomo Top 10 Holiday Park
Cabin has a bad smell (note on wall stated it was recently varnished but did not have this smell). Shower went hot then cold on and off which made for a very unpleasant experience. Waitomo Express - 1918 Train Carriage
The staff was nice but the room was filthy. Beds were terrible. You roll in to the middle. We had bugs crawling on the sheets in the bedrooms. Had to dust cobwebs above the bed. Woodlyn Park
Very fun experience, we lived in the front side of airplane. Space is a little small, but fun experience. The front desk guy is super helpful and recommended some good food for us.

Waitomo Woodlyn Park Hobbit Guest House
Everything we were hoping for. Friendly welcome, clean and had everything we needed. A 2 minute drive to Waitomo Village for very tasty dinner at the pub. Able to live out our Hobbit fantasy with amazing room and imaginative art work. Would definitely do it again. Completely unique experience.
