Fourth of July to remember

What a magical week we had in Sandbridge. We have two kiddos (5 and 6) and the Tiny House was awesome. The welcome note and basket- quick response from hosts for our questions- and incredible location on the bay were all outstanding. We went kayaking, crabbing, and fishing in the bay after long days on the beach. I was hoping for an awesome week away with our family, and this far exceeded our expectations. We have been staying in sandbridge for our summer vacation for years and this was by far our favorite spot! We will be back :)

Best beach house

This is our second year staying in the tiny house and it gets better every year. The owners are super responsive and great to work with. They also do amazing personal touches on arrival, snacks, a bottle of wine etc. we adore this place and cannot say enough good things about it. Everything in the house is perfectly done and has everything you could possibly need!!! Will absolutely stay again!!! 😎

Just doesn’t get any better!!

After our third stay at the tiny house, we feel even more attached than before. That’s 3 times in a year which should tell you it’s a 5-star stay. If we can’t stay there, we just won’t go to the VA Beach area. 10 stars on a scale of 5!

Beautiful house and views

This was a great place. We booked this tiny house hoping it was going to be big enough and comfortable. It absolutely has everything you need and the sunsets from the deck were spectacular. We used the kayaks every day on the bay and the bikes a couple of days cruising the state park. If you are worried the house is too small, it is not. Perfect for a couple. If you have kids, I am sure they would love it in the loft. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing and perfect vacation!!!

Our family had such a beautiful week in Sandbridge!!! First of all, if you have any concerns, don’t. This property has so much to offer and is on a perfect corner lot allowing the BEST view in the complex. There are a ton of recreational options and the kayaks were a perfect addition as well as the bikes. Though it’s literally the furthest property from the entrance, it’s super private and spacious making it 110% worth it. We loved the pools and amenities on site. The kitchen had the most amazing appliances and cookware making it easy to dish up any meal. There is plenty of storage and loved all of the techy things like good Wi-Fi, tv, cable/internet, Bluetooth, electronic fireplace and awesome lighting. The communication with the owners was top notch. Also, it was impeccably clean and easy to keep that way because of the availability of supplies. We wished we could stay forever!

Absolutely Fantastic

This was our third year at the resort and we had been looking at renting this house. It was amazing! Stunning sunsets from the deck, modern furnishings and decorations inside, extremely comfortable and relaxing! Hosts are very easy to work with and were overly accommodating. Zero complaints. Couldn’t ask for anything better!

The property was on point with the description! Sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! Everything about the property was amazing! Location/chair choices on the deck/snacks and bottle of wine that was left for us and various spices/streaming services and cable options/shampoo and conditioner and body wash were provided in the shower. We were definitely sad to leave your place this morning.

A perfect vacation!

My husband, 14-year-old son, and I stayed at the tiny house for our vacation in July. It was THE BEST week. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. The owners communicated with us the entire time and were incredibly responsive. When sitting on the deck, you feel like you are on your own little island. It is peaceful and the views are breathtaking. There are several nearby restaurants with more only a short drive away. The beach is nearby and the two pools were also nice. I can't say enough good things. I look forward to going back again!

We’ll be back “At Some Point”

I’ll admit I was concerned that this “tiny house” was going to be to small for my husband and me. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. It was perfect. Everything in the house was top of the line. The views were spectacular. The house was immaculate. There was a problem with the water in the complex and Brooke called me as soon as she found out to let us know and kept in touch throughout the day to keep us up to date. This was the best rental we’ve ever had. We highly recommend it and look forward to going back “at some point. (Pun intended!!)

A great week of relaxation

Our return stay at the Tiny House was equal to our first stay, which is saying a lot! Brooke and John are so responsive and thoughtful which made our time there perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the kitchen more than adequately furnished and the couch is a great place to rest, read, watch TV or simply enjoy the view out the windows. We will absolutely be back for more of the Tiny House!

The house was more than I could of hoped for! And the location was perfect to restaurants and the beach. And the best part is it’s location on the bay. You can sit on the deck after a long day on the beach and watch the sunset. I will definitely stay here again. The owners are also amazing and super responsive. No way to top this one!

Everything exceeds one’s expectations at the Tiny House. We needed nothing and found everything to be top quality and more than adequate. The views over the Back Bay are so calming and this truly is the best spot at the resort. There are a myriad of things to do, places to go and good food to eat. A perfect way to enjoy Virginia Beach. John and Brooke were excellent hosts and provided all the information needed and were available to us while there. The Welcome Book in the Tiny House had many good referrals to local places and they were spot on. Will absolutely go back!!

Expectations exceeded!

We loved staying at the Tiny House. My family of 4 was dubious when I booked it, but as soon as we arrived, all expectations were blown away. The location was spectacular being right on the water, Incredible sunsets every night, beach close by, yummy seafood spots all over, and the resounding commentary from everyone was how NOT tiny it felt. We were very comfortable! And that’s with a 9 and almost 13 year old. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Above and beyond expectations!

This property was sparkling clean upon arrival and it’s apparent that the owners put much thought into outfitting the space with quality products. We were pleasantly surprised that toiletries and cleaning supplies were provided. The bedding is luxiourois as well as the towels. Plenty of storage and all the outdoor extras were super. We enjoyed both the bikes and the kayaks! The double deck was a family favorite both in the morning and of course for the sunset. Wonderful rental property!

Peaceful Relaxation

Our stay at the tiny house provided my family with the peace and relaxation that we needed. The deck that overlooks the bay is wonderful! It provided us with breathtaking sunsets and fun filled days. The house and the owners could not have been any more welcoming! There was a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us! Couldn’t have asked for more!

Clean and comfortable, beautiful views of Back Bay! We enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes. Easy communication with host. We love this community and have stayed in several places here over the last 8 years.

Just perfect!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! First, communication with the hosts was wonderful. They are quick to respond and so accommodating. Next the property itself. The first thing you notice is that it is, by far, the best lot in the community. The water views are incredible and the outdoor area is perfect: large deck, large umbrella, comfy chairs, outdoor fan, bistro lights… perfect! The tiny house itself is the best I’ve ever seen! It’s decorated beautifully and beyond clean. The hosts have also labeled the cabinets which I appreciate because then I know where to find things and where to put them back! (Plus they left welcome snacks and coffee- bonus points!) The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was soft. We slept in both beds and discovered we liked the loft the best… the view is wonderful! (seeing the water right when you wake up is the best way to start your day!) This house has it all! They even left two bikes and two kayaks… perfect getaway for my husband and me! Definitely coming back!
