Walking distance to beach and dining was about the only good thing about this place. The photos shown on Expedia was certainly not the room we were in. The front of the hotel looks like your average budget friendly beach motel but the room we were put in was in a separate building. When we arrived there was a note on the office door to call a #, I called and someone came to help get us checked in. The Lady was very nice and said the room we’re in is a “studio unit”. They “ran out of keys “ so I had to download an app to be able to get in and out of our room. When she took us up to our “studio” I was shocked at the condition of this place! It is clearly in the process of being renovated and was not ready for anyone to stay there!! It was hot (no A/c), smelled like paint and was filthy! The “patio “ fit one chair and the wall was literally rotting away! The bed was up against a window with a broken screen that bugs were flying in from. The bathroom was ok until you saw the shower! An old jacuzzi bathtub with disgusting buildup in all the jets, hair, bugs and a rusty drain and shower head. I couldn’t bring myself to take a shower in there. The bed sheets smelled stale and like paint. Thankfully we were only there for one night on our drive home. This was probably the worst motel we’ve ever stayed at! Absolutely false advertisement!! I would have never booked had I know this is what we were getting! I honestly feel we deserve some sort of refund.
