RECENTLY MODIFIED AND ENLARGED WITH NEW ROOMS AND WONDERFUL GARDEN
The apartment is on the ground floor of a Venetian building, located in a quiet area five minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco ... you are in the heart of the city.
A corridor decorated with two ancient 17th century columns leads to the fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven, a four-burner gas cooker, a microwave oven, a toaster, an electric kettle, a dishwasher, and a fridge with freezer; follows the Istrian stone bathroom with tub, and two rooms.
The first bedroom with double bed overlooks our private magic garden
The second twin bedroom overlooks the internal courtyard of the building. On the right is the second bathroom with large shower, the breakfast knoot, the living room with a comfortable sofa (bed), a 19th century chest of drawers, two armchairs and a square table.
In the same area there is a large round table with chairs which gives access to a large and delightful garden for the exclusive use of clients. This garden is an oasis of peace and tranquility where you can relax and enjoy your spritz aperitif after busy days of touring the city.
The furnishings are original SMANIA pieces and antique chests of drawers from the 19th century
The apartment also has air conditioning and wi-fi.

A very nice place. Couldn't get any stations on the televisions, which was frustrating. The bathroom with the tub, really isn't for showering, as the wall only goes up partway, so water gets on the floor.

Living like a local!

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious apartment. Our host was so gracious to meet us at the Vaparetto stop and walk us to the location. She gave us tons of recommendations for her favorite places and we tried many of them, enjoyed great chicchetti and restaurants like locals. She shared the history of the Spritz and recommended the local Spritz of choice, The Select. So we felt like we got a true tase of Venice and avoided overly touristy places. The apartment is very comfortable and super quiet, a nice place to relax and rest after the bustle of the streets and museums. Thank you to the best host!

Great location and better host

Lorenza went the extra mile and met us at water taxi and led us to the property. In centrally located but quiet neighborhood away from tourist crush, close to stores, fruit stands, coffee and pastry shops. Kitchen well equipped. If in the summer be aware that AC is not in the bedrooms, but out in the hall just outside bedrooms. To get cool air into rooms we slept with bedroom doors open (two couples visiting Venice and sharing vrbo sleeping with open bedroom doors was not ideal). The hospitality of the host and her responsiveness to questions and suggestions was outstanding and we would stay again.

Fabulous property and host

The property was well located, close to shops, restaurants and a water bus stop. Very nicely furnished with excellent air con, plus nice little touches like sugar, coffee, condiments etc. Lorenza was the perfect host, welcoming and knowledgeable and spoke great English. Highly recommended.

What a lovely spot in the heart of San Polo!

We had a lovely 3-day family stay in Lorenza’s garden apartment. Lorenza met us at the vaporetto stop and showed us the way over two small canal bridges to the apartment. We got wonderful recommendations of where to go, and she was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, with so much charm. The garden is incredible, a hidden gem of tranquility and green. The neighborhood was quiet and away from the tourist zoo, but central on foot to everything you could want to see, including the Grand Canal. It took us 20 minutes to walk to San Marco, 10 minutes to the Rialto, and it was wonderful to return to the peace of our apartment and its calmer neighborhood at the end of the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Lorenza!

A FABULOUS PLACE TO STAY

We have travelled to Venice many times over the last twenty years. This was undoubtedly the best. At the end of a quiet calle, a ground floor property with a charming garden. Lorenza was responsive and very easy to talk to. Good facilities, a super comfortable bed and well-located. We loved it all.

Lovely central apartment

Small but perfect. Very comfortable with everything we needed. The garden was lovely, a peaceful spot after sightseeing. The owner, Lorenza, met us at the bus stop, helped us with luggage and gave us lots of useful information. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Sunny private garden in a central location

This was our second stay in this lovely and very special apartment. It is a rare and virtually unique privilege to have access to your own private, sunny garden in central Venice and one which we fully appreciated. Lorenza and her mother (who lives on-site) were truly amazing! Unfortunately, my partner Kath had a serious medical emergency during our trip which necessitated a short stay in hospital, but Lorenza and her mum supported us and took care of us all the way, I genuinely don't know how we would have coped without their kindness and help and will be forever in their debt. So you are certain to have a pleasant stay in their charming apartment, and I guarantee that you will be very well looked after!

Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful experience and comes highly recommended! Lorenza couldn't have been more helpful and kind, from meeting us at the waterbus stop to settling us in. The apartment is in a fabulous location - we soon decided it was our favourite part of the city, and enjoyed drinking coffee at the end of the alleyway, sitting by the T junction of the canal. Just blissful! The apartment was well suited for self catering - we bought fish from Rialto fish market and it cooked beautifully in the microwave! Having coffee makers and fresh coffee provided too was spot on. The only slight downer was that there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom - but provided the fan was left on and the door left closed it didn't invade the living area.

Little studio with beautiful courtyard

A peaceful haven away from the madding crowd in a quiet but central location in Venice. Comfortable if a little dated inside, everything clean and working. We didn't try to cook but kitchen useable if cramped. Lovely host who is v.helpful. Highly recommended.

Great Stay in ideal location
