The two men who worked at the reception were very attentive, accommodating, and helpful. Our TV wasn’t working properly at first, but they made sure that the issue was addressed immediately. The location is great, only a short walk from the water bus station (we had large suitcases so this was very convenient) and there are lots of food and retail stores immediately outside of the hotel. The room itself was very clean and had been renovated to make the most of the space. Just be aware that there is no elevator, only stairs. We would definitely stay here again if we travel to Venice in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rio Hotel! The location is ideal for getting around central Venice, just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square, and there are a lot of dining and shopping options right outside the hotel. The room was small but more than enough for my needs, and it was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others!

Very clean and convenient property for solo traveller exploring Venice. Central location, easy to get to by ferry from Venezia S. Lucia train station (30 minute walk is a bit tricky due to nature of Venice streets/bridges, but manageable if no accessibility concerns).
