Pros: -Located near San Marco’s square, convenient for seeing Doge’s palace -good breakfast -nice rooms, comes with slippers and robes - near a water taxi station -laundry machine is a nice touch -shower shampoos and soaps are good quality -several convenience stores and restaurants within a 5 minute walk -quiet at night Cons: -staff we interacted with, in general, were rude and unpleasant. However, Breakfast staff were nice. -the hotel is not consolidated into one building, our room was in a building next to the main hotel which was a bit annoying walking outside to get to the breakfast -didn’t receive the VIP perk upon arrival -master bed was two single mattresses pushed together, leaving a gap in the middle of bed (not romance friendly) verdict: the hotel is good value for Venice, despite several significant drawbacks I would recommend considering it. Many comments on google and Expedia indicate there are hot water issues, we had no such issues with the water.

Great location not far from St Marks Square, but quiet and very close to “real Venice” (where locals live, eat, shop etc). Pleasant staff and nice rooms. Recommenced.
