One of the best places to stay in wine country! Each room is private and quiet. A Large comfy bed, a fireplace and a soaking tub are perfect after a long day wining. They also have a small in room dining menu!

The room was the worst part about our stay. The carpet was just destroyed, stained and coming up. My wife stepped on a nail or staple, where the carpet was coming up. The balcony area was dirty, the TV was super small for the size of the room. Just feels like a few upgrades are definitely needed when you're spending $500 a night.

Celebrating my wife's birthday

The accommodations are very nice with spacious rooms and a very large bathroom including a large shower room and a large tub. Two sinks are provided. The king-sized beds are comfortable and there is a round dining table with a comfortable couch facing a large TV screen and electric fireplace. The outside sitting area facing the vineyard is very comfortable enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sun set . The pool are is very comfortable and adjacent to the outdoor Vineyard grill that servers lunch ,

The property itself is great. The girl who checked me in was super friendly and helpful. I was expecting the vineyard to be fully bloomed but I went in Feb. My only complaint was the bed. It was not comfortable at all. Other than that great place!!

I understand that the stay was at the end of the year, however the property was understaffed. The shower was not properly working but there was no technician to fix. The property is high-end hotel but does not provide turndown or cleaning everynight. There were no slippers in the room with carpet that was lifting up from the floor. The wall had stains. I would expect such quality in the regular hotel, but with Carter Hotel, which promotes as luxury and charging good price should be as clean and courteous to guests as Relais Chateaux.
