We ended up with 2 granola bars as everything was gone by 8:45 for breakfast. The room was clean and a good surprise considering the outside of the property. The bed was very comfortable and the blinds definitely blocked out the light. Quiet location apart from the occasional train. Parking right outside the door. Mixed staff ratings, one was very helpful the other not so much.

I had booked a room with a single bed for my wife & our special needs daughter for their trip from Fort Worth, TX to Phoenix, AZ for a visit with her youngest son. She called me early in the evening on the day they left and said she was too tired to drive much further, I started to worry about where to book a room because she had planned on staying overnight in Las Cruces, NM...Anyway, Van Horn was the closest town with a few Hotels & I picked the Days Inn by Wyndham. She could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. She & the daughter felt very safe, the grounds, lobby & most importantly, her room was very clean & pleasant. Staff was always friendly & helpful. The property was very clean. Our room was spotless!! The room had a 'full-size' refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, coffee maker and comfy king size bed. The breakfast was filled with many options, make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, multiple cereals, 2 diff. Danishes, and granola bars, yogurt, juices, coffee, milk. I was very surprised by all the items for breakfast.... and very happy!!! 😊 *The only negative; the Direct TV in our room, had no Signal (each time we tried it). So we couldn't watch TV.

We didn’t have an ice bucket. And the TV didn’t work!!! Then the guy at the desk told me I just needed to hit the input button on the remote. I wasn’t going to walk back in there to argue with him. They do have crappy eggs and bacon to go with the standard waffle. But crappy eggs and bacon is better than no eggs and bacon.
