Adventure Hotels in Vail Village

"Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at The Lodge and there are many positives; I would consider returning. I realised it was not what I consider a 'full service hotel' because it does not have its own bar/restaurant and didn't offer a buffet breakfast, and nor was there a bar/lounge (other than the small lobby lounge which felt more like a waiting area). The gate from our terrace to the spa area failed on two occasions so we had to get it looked at. The location close to the gondola, the ski valet, good spa and gym and the friendly staff were all positives. The breakfast at Cucina in the same building is a la carte only and limited menu. We didn't try the evening meal. Elway's two nights and enjoyed that."
