The property itself was nice and appeared luxury. The hotel check in staff was friendly enough, however, when we asked about our early check in with VIP access, he agreed with an additional $100. He turn said if our room was ready, he would let us check in early and took our number. ??? He already said it was ready if we paid an additional $100….ugh. And they never called to let us check in early. He did appear more smug with us when he found out we were American. Can’t say for sure that had anything to do with it or not, but he was a bit smug. Food at the restaurants is ridiculously overpriced. $46/each for breakfast buffet. $19 for a still water and Coke Zero. Now we have stayed at Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton’s before and never encountered these prices. Definitely worth a short walk to some great food nearby. We were so tired the first day we ordered Uber Eats. The delivery driver wasn’t even allowed inside the hotel. I had to go meet him at the entrance. On to the room. It was sultry and humid. Air conditioner did not work. Fridge did not work. They offered to move us. Checked out two rooms. Air did not work there either. Door to balcony actually broke when maintenance opened it. Finally they said they found a room where everything works and it was a double upgrade. Yes, room was much nicer and fridge worked, although the air conditioner still wasn’t working. I really think this was hotel wide. Just humid and sultry. Room was nice and shower and tub were amazing.

This an extremely large and beautiful hotel and very well located. The hotel is pristine, the staff welcoming and very receptive. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable. The hotel is located close to all that we wanted to see and do and the area was very safe and had lots of amenities.
