This Hotel is convenient for the train station. Sadly there is much work going on in the area and there are some problems with people out front who are a bit frightening. The Hotel needs a bit of updating and painting and the carpets need a good cleaning. The front desk staff were very helpful and if you walked a block towards the river the neighborhood improved quickly.

The hotel is close to the train station, so traveling close or up to a couple of hours was very convenient. The only bad thing has to do with getting hit by second hand smoke when you walk outside the hotel. It’s not the hotel’s fault, just be aware that smoking is more prevalent here.

The hotel manager and her staffs were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping was very good to keep the room 601 clean when I stayed there.

The Frankfurt provided what we needed for our short stay. Closeness to the train station and walking distance to the Christmas Markets was great. We didn't like the area it was surrounded by so much, but we made it work.
