"We had a WONDERFUL stay at Arribas Sintra Hotel. The sound of waves on the beach was so soothing. The buffet breakfast was delicious, The staff were well-trained, polite and courteous and friendly. The place was clean and modern with an awesome veranda overlooking the ginormous pool. We loved the pool, lukewarm and clean and gorgeous. The beds were the best of this vacation. The food in the resraurant was great. Memorable stay in every way. We taxied into Sintra for a tuk-tuk tour, but the beach was its own reward. We'd love to come back. Most highly recommended. "

"Almost faultless in every way.Pool HP needs replacing, some new pillows and a new bread knife were the only minor points.Ketan was always there when you wanted and very helpful.Local beaches and restaurants were top notch.Sintra is magic!"

"Rosa was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and always available if we needed her.The villa was clean and traditional Portuguese with superb views. The garden was lovely however the pool which looked great was not heated.The villa is set in a small quiet village location but a car is a must to visit local restaurants and towns.Overall we would recommend this charming villa. "This home is stunning. Rita and her family welcomed us and showed us around, which was very helpful and immediately helped us feel at ease and at home. Four adults and one child were in our group and we all had plenty of space. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare our own meals, even a dishwasher. We were able to do our laundry before traveling again, which was great. We used the pool literally every day of our stay. The outdoor space was like The Secret Garden. It was hard to want to leave because the space was just so magical, but Praia Grande was walking distance away with great waves and a huge sandy beach, and Azenhas do Mar was only a 5 minute drive and our go to place to have a drink and watch the sun set. There’s also a grocery store just five minutes down the road with everything you could need from cleaning supplies to octopus. The TV had Netflix and Disney Jr., so something for everyone. The AC works great and is room specific, so if that’s a filter on your search like it was for us, know that this place will be a perfect temperature for you! We would love to stay here again. "
