"Let me first say that Amber at the front desk was amazing. Super courteous, helpful, apologetic, friendly, and went above and beyond to help us out. That being said, we were incredibly disappointed with the hotel, and wound up not staying there.
We were informed at check in that you had to make a reservation for the pool due to Covid limitations, which we were not told when the reservation was made. I had called the hotel directly prior to booking to ask about the pool and the need for a reservation was not mentioned. Amber was very apologetic and tried to help by keeping the pool open later or opening it early for us so our kid could swim, but it did not work for us and she was very disappointed, as the pool was the whole point of us booking a hotel as opposed to staying with family.
More disappointing were the room conditions. In the first room, the floor was dirty and there were small black hairs in both beds and in the bathtub. We asked for another room, which Amber provided. But it was no better. The floor was dirty, and there was even more hair in one of those beds, hairs in the other and stains on the comforter of the other bed, some kind of scab or something on top of the comforter, as well as hairs in the bathroom. Hairs were easy to spot on the stark, white beds. The condition of the floors in the room was likely worsened because the hallways in the hotel were also very dirty themselves. We refused to stay and were refunded. I would not recommend it."
