Do not stay at this property. Unsafe environment, security doors unlocked at all times, room is dirty and old needs updating. community residents live on site as verified by front desk staff. I had reserved the room in advance the same day through a third-party app and it was nonrefundable. We needed a room for one night as we were passing through town and did not realize the county fair was going on, so limited availability. Had we have known we would’ve continued driving through.

Overall the place was pretty good. My only issue was that my room was across from the elevator, so I constantly heard a drilling noise, (I'm guessing the cable moving) throughout the night. Come morning, everyone exiting the elevator that was talking I could hear clearly.

Hotel need some upgrades. Carpet, curtains, pillows, iron and ironing board needs replaced. Table was falling apart. Maybe try for some sound proofing, pretty sure for the 2 nights we were there there was a heard of elephants playing basketball upstairs.

Not happy customer

Room was not clean, floors stained. Hot tub was nice. Pull out sofa mattress was worse than sleeping on the floor. I felt the springs in my back. Bathtub had hair. The fireplace was cute, but the the floor area around it was not safe needs repair. Not the hotels fault, but we were rudely woken up by 15-20 people and kids running, yelling, loudly very early. The room smelled bad too like maybe people had smoked. It made 2 of my kids asthma act up.

Our room was less than desirable. Our air conditioner leaked water all over the carpet whenever we used the air. When we brought it to the attention of the owner, he said that he would take care of it after we checked out ! The carpet was so soaked that we couldn’t even walk on that side of the room and we couldn’t use the air conditioning and it was 80°. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned and the coffee in the room was missing creamer. With all of the other options in Traverse City, we will never stay here again.
