Valverde Glamping & Ecolodge
"Staff were excellent especially Kaylor and the team, very warm and helpful with organising our tours. Food options also very good and place is quiet and in the middle of nature. Accomodation is ok, little bit rustic but then it is an eco lodge and you paying for seclusion and to be close to wildlife. ..."

Mawamba Lodge
"Nous sommes tombés en amour avec cet hôtel. Nous avions un bungalow avec air climatisé. Très utile car c'est chaud et humide en août. Nous avons vu des perroquets, des toucans et des singes hurleurs sur notre site. Nous avons aussi fait la sortie pour voir la ponte des tortues vertes. C'était vraiment ..."

"Having read a lot of reviews, we expected Pachira Lodge to be a bit tired and for the food to be limited, but we were still disappointed, considering what we had paid for our stay. The setting in the jungle is great and we saw sloths and monkeys from the pleasant pool area. We were unfortunately ..."

Hotel El Icaco Tortuguero
"We were four adults and a baby there for two nights in two rooms. We arrived earlier than expected and had to wait a little for the room, but they let us in as soon as it was ready. They were kind to make sure our rooms were next to each other. We were met at the parking in La Pavona and again getting off the boat in town. Great guidance each place so we never felt lost. Lady was very nice and met us at the hotel and explained everything to us and showed us to our rooms. They were very clean and beds were comfortable with the necessary amenities. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with several great options. We were made to feel at ease and served promptly. While they did have to do a repair while we were (on a roof across from us) they did it quickly and efficiently being careful to stop when we were passing by. The second night there was thunderstorm that caused a power outage in the whole town early evening. They kept us informed as to what happened and what to expect the rest of the night. We weren’t expecting them to serve breakfast due to no power, but they had it ready and waiting. We had no complaints or issues with the property or staff and were very pleased with our stay."
