The half-board program provides dinner and a very substantial afternoon food offering for a minor upcharge and is well worth it. Breakfast is also a large and varied spread. While it’s an older building, I found the essentials functional, and the room was relatively spacious. Service was friendly and unfussy; housekeeping was kind enough to leave an apple most days. One minor issue is it’s not the quietest: it’s located next to the railroad tracks so passing trains are audible, and one morning I awoke to gardening equipment that should probably have been run later in the day."
